Venice, 27-29 November
Trans2Care network will attend the conference NanotechItaly2013 with the workshop "Medicine for Nanotechnologies - Nanotechnologies for Medicine".
The major molecular aspects associated to common ageing-related diseases will be presented and discussed, giving specific attention to what nanotechnology might offer to develop solutions to the most relevant medical issues: obesity, neurodegenerative disorders, coeliac disease and cancer.
The researchers involved in T2C network will present the major medical aspects that they are studying, i.e. obesity and its long-term consequences, such as bone diseases and cardiovascular diseases; neurodegenerative diseases and the perspective of preventing them by targeting to the brain bioactive compounds; cancer. Different nanotechnological solutions are under development, based on sound knowledge of the molecular basis of these diseases.
If you are interested in participating in the workshop as spectators you can avail of a discount of 10% for the registration fees.
